The 1906 E. Howard Model 0 Tower Clock ticking for 46 seconds,  Very soothing ...

6:00am strike.  Note the fly fan acting to regulate the speed of the strike and the chain pulling down and releasing, causing the hammer in the belfry to strike the bell.   A tad squeaky, but not bad for an old clock!

The 1897 McShane Foundry bell striking at 3:00pm in the key of D-sharp!

The escapement in action, providing the clock with its iconic ticking sound.  Without those two pallets making alternating contact with the teeth, the escape wheel would spin out of control.
